Independent Contractor – Moving Helper (Dolly)

Are you a self-motivated individual with a strong back and a flexible schedule? Do you desire to be your own boss and control your work hours?

Dolly seeks qualified candidates to join its team of independent contractor Helpers. As a Dolly Helper, you will be responsible for facilitating connections with local customers requiring assistance in transporting or lifting heavy items.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Jobs (Dollys) that align with your availability and skillset will be selectable through the user-friendly app.
  • Clear communication will be maintained with customers to confirm job details and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Safe lifting, carrying, and transportation of various heavy items, including furniture, appliances, and building materials, will be performed.
  • A professional and courteous demeanor will be upheld while representing Dolly.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (pick-up truck, cargo van, box truck, or SUV with a trailer) is required.
  • Appropriate auto insurance must be maintained.
  • The ability to lift and carry at least 75 lbs is necessary.
  • A clean background check is mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential.
  • A smartphone with a compatible operating system (Android or iOS) is required.
  • A valid PayPal account is necessary.
